Our classrooms are filled with loving teachers who are dedicated to supporting and guiding the children and teens of our ministry in their individual journeys of spiritual self-discovery. Our team members are passionate about Unity principles and the future of our spiritual community, the Unity movement, and our world.
There are a variety of ways to be of service in our youth ministry programs. Note that we screen all volunteers and employees including clergy who work with our children.

What We Believe
We believe it is our responsibility to protect the children in our care. Children and parents need to know that we have taken every reasonable step to ensure their children's safety in our ministry.
We believe that it is our responsibility to protect staff and volunteer workers in our ministry. To this end, we have screening and supervision policies in place to protect our ministry workers.
We believe it is our responsibility to protect our ministry. By requiring child protection training, as well as implementing screening and supervision policies, we are modeling good safety procedures to others who look to our ministry as an example of a well run ministry for children and youth.

The Process of Becoming a Volunteer:
- Fill out application.
- Schedule an informal interview.
- Successfully pass background and reference checks.
- Schedule time to shadow current team of teachers.
- Attend orientation/training.
Requirements:
- Attended Unity Village Chapel for at least 6 months.
- Practice Unity principles in your daily life.
- Teachers Requirements: Willing to make a one year commitment to the program.
- Team Member Requirements: Willing to make a one year commitment to the program.
- Volunteer Requirements: Willing to help the teachers with the Sunday lesson and preparation.
- Serve at least 1 Sunday every other month.
- Be on standby as a substitute.
- Attend occasional team meetings, teacher trainings, and child safety/protection training.
