*UVC has an annual
Adventures In Spirituality (AIS) Fall Series. |
Find meaningful connection with like-minded spiritual friends through SmallGroups!
Building meaningful relationships supports YOU in today’s world. SmallGroups are the way that Unity Village Chapel encourages people to deepen their connections with others and grow spiritually.
What is a Small Group? |
Our small groups are a gathering of no more than 12 people who meet at a home or other location outside of Sunday service to explore together, deepen spiritual practice and build community through focusing on a theme or common interest. Small group sign-ups launch three times per year (fall, winter & spring), plus we offer a few ongoing groups so you can find a day, time, and group that works for you. Gatherings are either in-person or virtual on Zoom, and include socializing, sharing food, and 90 minutes (or more) of sacred time for meditation and discussion.

Registration is Closed for the

We gather in an open studio atmosphere in the UVC Community classroom to create in any way that brings joy. This could include sacred geometry, board books/collages, water color or acrylic painting coloring books, stamping, jewelry making, or hand sewing. Join Facilitator Linda Rae...it's Time To Play!

Required Reading: "The Creative Act: A Way of Being” by Rick Rubin.
Also each session will include a guest speaker. |
Join Facilitator Linda Rae Chappell to study "The Creative Act: A Way of Being" by Rick Rubin. Rubin wrote: “Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human. Through the ordinary state of being, we’re already creators in the most profound way..." We will discuss our own personal creative expression and hear from guest speakers about their creative journeys. And so it begins...

Required Reading: "Prosperity's Ten Commandments” by Georgiana Tree West.
|
Join Facilitators Ayesha & Mark Livingston to explore Georgiana Tree West’s book “Prosperity's Ten Commandments”. Join us in discovering the timeless wisdom of the Ten Commandments re-framed as New Thought principles for a prosperous and fulfilling life. Expect Insightful guidance on how to apply these teachings in our finances, relationships, health, and spirituality. Join us as we embody prosperity principles and transform our lives!
|
Join Host Linda Chubbuck to learn about the metaphysical power and the cultural impact of planting native plants. Join Linda at our home in SE Lee's Summit as we explore how this practice impacts our neighborhood and our world. The group format includes discussion, expanding our consciousness and the power of aligning with mother nature's state of being. This is a hands-on experience; and includes working outdoors with plants.

Whether you’re a seasoned writer or someone new to the craft, this experience unlocks your creative potential and nurtures your soul through the art of writing.
|
Join Facilitator Jay Cross to explore the art of storytelling through the lens of different characters, voices, and perspectives. Tap into the power of narrative, the deeper currents of our own stories, as well as those of the people and worlds we create. Read and discuss a variety of stories, then embark on guided writing exercises designed to help us explore fresh, untold narratives. Come take flight with Jay and set your mind free.

Nature is a sacred endowment available to all of us. Yet, we are often so caught up in the frenetic activity of life that we don't engage with this essential aspect of creation. Each week we’ll participate in an individual practice of significantly connecting with nature. Gather with Kimberly Beer to share the discoveries we’ve made.

Suggested Reading:
"The Intenders Handbook (A Guide to the Intention Process and the Conscious Community)" by Tony Burroughs and "369 Laws of Attraction Guided Workbook: Discover Your Inner Power to Make Your Life Anything You Can Imagine" by Chartwell Books |
Join Facilitator Cortnee McIlwee to foster a supportive container for personal manifestation. Together we write, verbalize, affirm and witness each other's intentions by using the intender code. As intenders, we collectively co-create our visions into manifestation and are encouraged to push through our limiting beliefs using The Law of Mind Action and affirming space for all to experience light-hearted joy and consciousness expansion in unexpected ways. As we give ourselves permission to envision we support, inspire and empower each other beyond any place we've dared to dream before.
