Follow the Sunday Sermon Series Oct 1 - Nov 12, 2023. Incorporating Sunday messages and Small Groups centered around a common book, we study and explore together, deepening our spiritual practice and building community. WELCOME! So glad you are joining this adventure. Once you register below, you will receive an email confirmation with your meeting details and zoom link, if applicable. Building meaningful relationships supports YOU in today’s world. Small Groups are one way that Unity Village Chapel encourages people to deepen their connections with others and grow spiritually.
Everything Belongs: The Gift of Contemplative Prayer ~ This book challenges people to move beyond the comfort of a settled life toward an understanding of themselves that is rooted in their connection to God. Only when they rest in God can they find the certainty and the freedom to become all that they can be.
Below are quotes of Richard Rohr's from the book:
Gain “easy and natural access to your soul, and openness to transcendent spirit.“
“Only the spacious contemplative mind, can see so broadly and trust so deeply."
”The gift that true contemplatives offer to themselves and society is that they know themselves as part of a much larger story, much larger.”
”All spiritual disciplines, have one purpose: to get rid of illusions, so we can be present. These disciplines exist, so that we can see what is, see who we are, and see what is happening. ”
