Unity Village Chapel is proud to partner with the following organizations to share and engage in universal principles as a worldwide spiritual family.
The Association of Unity Churches was created in the mid-1960s to serve the needs of the churches and ministers throughout the movement. As the Unity movement was growing, it became increasingly complex to manage the needs of the field ministries. Unity School of Christianity suggested that Unity ministers form a group to support the work of the churches. This resulted in better services for the churches and ministers.
In 2016 Unity Institute closed its doors and Unity Worldwide Ministries assumed responsibility for training our Unity ministers and licensed teachers and Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute went live with a totally online school. This school not only serves our future Unity leaders, but all those who are interested in our teachings

New Thought is a spiritually motivated way of life that embraces the ancient wisdom traditions of east and west. We embody the belief that consciousness is elementally creative and reciprocates thought, inspiring us to co-create with the Divine to shape the realities of our lives. AGNT is committed to global healing achieved through personal transformation, community-building, interfaith, intercultural, and interdisciplinary understanding, and compassionate activism.
Together, we begin a new journey that does not just represent powerful ideas contributed by individual churches and spiritual centers around the nation, but one that embodies a Whole System giving unified and coherent expression to the important principles, practices, and actions of interconnectedness, diversity and socially conscious evolution.
AGNT proudly inspires congregations worldwide to participate in a mission of spiritually motivated social activism. Spiritually Guided Social Uplift Ministries (SUM) is a new curriculum for New Thought Centers approaching the issues of the day with a spiritual focus that transcends the polarizing political agenda that can discourage churches from engaging. Below is the 2019 curriculum featuring four of nine modules:

Campaign for Consciousness (CFC) is a global virtual community using conscious intention and unified affirmation as the power and foundation for spiritual social action and progress that occurs annually from September 10th through October 19th. Let's transform the world one thought at a time by helping create a healing magnet in the world.
|
We believe there is in each individual the capacity to direct powerful, positive intention toward others. We believe that the positive intention has actual impact on the world in which we live. Initiating a forty day period of meditative affirmation, a spiritual "magnet" is generated revealing and activating the abundance of good in our collective consciousness thus our experience.
We invite you to participate in this Positive Affirmation for Global Transformation by doing the following:
SPEAK IT: For the next 40 days, know this affirmation
SPREAD IT: Share It, Tag It, Text it, Tweet It, Instagram It and Like it on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pg/campaignforconsciousness to post your name as a campaigner, share with friends and family, spread the message by tagging with #CFC2019 and use flyer and PowerPoint slides to share with your community.
SEE IT: Look for evidence of the affirmative

Charter for Compassion believes the The principle of compassion lies at the heart of all religious, ethical and spiritual traditions, calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the centre of our world and put another there, and to honour the inviolable sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without exception, with absolute justice, equity and respect.
|
www.charterforcompassion.org/It is also necessary in both public and private life to refrain consistently and empathically from inflicting pain. To act or speak violently out of spite, chauvinism, or self-interest, to impoverish, exploit or deny basic rights to anybody, and to incite hatred by denigrating others—even our enemies—is a denial of our common humanity. We acknowledge that we have failed to live compassionately and that some have even increased the sum of human misery in the name of religion.
We therefore call upon all men and women to restore compassion to the centre of morality and religion ~ to return to the ancient principle that any interpretation of scripture that breeds violence, hatred or disdain is illegitimate ~ to ensure that youth are given accurate and respectful information about other traditions, religions and cultures ~ to encourage a positive appreciation of cultural and religious diversity ~ to cultivate an informed empathy with the suffering of all human beings—even those regarded as enemies.

International Cities of Peace is a nonprofit, tax-exempt association dedicated to connecting, promoting, and encouraging the global cities of peace movement. An Advisory Council of leaders from global Cities of Peace organizations is working to create an all-inclusive, non-polarizing network of world citizens working on the ground to bring peace to their communities. Our mission is to network, encourage, document, and provide resources and information for leaders and organizations working to make peace a consensus value through the global Cities of Peace movement.

How we create a community culture of peace is evolving. Peace building is more effective at the community level where needs are known and solutions come from collaboration and cooperation between all sectors of society: the arts, education, environment, business, safety and security, recreation, faith-based, service, wellness, and government. It means building schools and health clinics, teaching nonviolence and the Golden Rule, and taking care of orphans and those at-risk, including refugees and those affected by war, poverty and hunger.
