Reverend Erin McCabe
Lead Minister
Our new lead minister at Unity Village Chapel is Rev. Erin McCabe. McCabe’s refreshing style brings a new flare to Unity. Indiana born, Colorado grown, Kansas City polished, and New Jersey primed, Erin returns to Unity Village to serve as the Senior Minister of Unity Village Chapel.
Ordained at Unity Village in 2005, she hit the road with her message and soul-filled music. After two years and visiting over 50 Unity centers from coast to coast, McCabe settled in the Garden State of NJ just outside of NYC. With a dynamic and diverse group of amazing individuals, she joyfully served the growing and thriving center at Unity of Montclair for over four years.
As a former environmental studies major and elementary school teacher, she holds tight to the Unity mission of creating a world that works for all. She pioneered and continues to direct Campaign for Consciousness, a virtual community using positive affirmation for global transformation.
Outside of Unity, you may see her strumming her guitar, camping at a folk festival, wading in a river, making crafts & pottery, enjoying a drum circle, rollerblading or teaching a yoga class.
Whatever the venue - a coffee shop, local hot spot or Unity Center, McCabe inspires with her unique blend of passion, insight and spirit. She weaves together the realms of the secular and the sacred as she shares her message, music and authenticity.

Reverend Marianne Jones
Pastoral Services Minister and Heart-Light Spiritual Counselor
Marianne graduated from the Ministerial Education Program at Unity School of Christianity
in 1987. Prior to entering ministry, she served in Silent Unity for 6 years. Since graduation,
she has served in the Association of Unity Churches as International Children's Education
Consultant, Chaplain as well as Youth and Children's minister at Unity Church of Overland
Park. Marianne joined the ministerial team at Unity Village Chapel in 1997. She resides in
Lee's Summit with her husband, Rev. Gary Jones.

Karen S. DeLong
Youth Education Director
One of Karen’s passions is working with children. She has taught Sunday school and Bible school,
ran summer camps, was the head sponsor at YOU events, and developed a class called "Freedom Day"
to help children with bullying. Karen has taught a course for parents and teachers and participated
in relationship and team building courses. Karen has been a member of Unity for 20 years and served
on the board of directors at Unity Church of Christianity in Baton Rouge, La. She has 3 grown
children and 5 grandchildren, all of whom currently reside in Louisiana.

Dolores Schmidt
Sunday Coordinator and Accountant
Dolores has been a volunteer and member of our congregation for 40 years. She has three grown
children and six grandchildren. She is an accountant and has had her own tax and accounting
business for twenty-five years. Besides working in the construction industry as an
accountant, she has been production manager for two of the larger lithographing companies in
the area. Her passions are being in service to her church and spending time with family
and friends.

Joan Mellor
Office Administrator
Joan has been a member of Unity Village Chapel since 2001, she and her husband Michael
volunteer on Sunday mornings. She assisted previously in the Chapel office from 2002
to 2005 and has owned an organizing business, "Everything In It's Place" and a home
rehabbing business, "J & M Home Investors". Joan and Michael have 2 daughters and
2 grandsons.
