Unity Village Chapel is a radiating center of positive energy, harmony and spirituality.
Each Unity center has a unique energy and Unity Village Chapel, located on the sacred grounds of Unity Headquarters is one of a kind. It is a gift to be part of an amazing spiritual community surrounded by the rich history of the Unity movement's birthplace.
My heart felt intention is to make Unity available to all who resonate with our positive, progressive message. Offering a uniquely authentic and inclusive energy, inspiring music, and a expansive Sunday message, we co-create a powerful divine appointment each Sunday morning. Weaving together the seemingly secular and sacred, we expand our experience of the Divine.
May the illuminating love that binds us continue to unfold in your awareness in wondrous ways. May you always remember that you dwell in the infinite presence of pure being.
Erin McCabe is the Senior Minister of Unity Village Chapel, the local and livestream spiritual community located at Unity World Headquarters. She is a graduate of Unity Institute and was licensed and ordained in 2005.
Erin spent two years on the road speaking and sharing her original music with Unity centers from coast to coast. Prior to returning to the Village, she was the minister of the vibrant and diverse Unity center in Montclair, NJ for five years. She is the founder and Director of Campaign for Consciousness, annually uniting an online global community in conscious intention and unified affirmation as the foundation for global transformation and spiritual social action. Erin (www.ErinMccabeMusic.com) is a singer-songwriter with multiple albums including "Meditations" and her original song "Deliver Me" is shared at a variety of spiritual centers. In her raw and soul-filled music, she weaves a union of the secular and the sacred.
With a passion for sustainable healthy living and environmental advocacy, she honors nature and the interconnectedness of all life as a fundamental spiritual practice. At the Village, she has supported the expansion of creative arts through the development of The Village Mic, Acoustic Alcove, Summer Film Series as well as the Unity Art Gallery. McCabe brings to the table a passionate flair. She calls people to a higher consciousness and encourages them to cast their vote, as the Dalai Lama said, "The world is a spiritual democracy, you vote with your life."

The world is a spiritual democracy. You vote with your life.
Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
Words of Wisdom from Unity Co-Founder Charles Fillmore
We boast much of our freedom and independence, but the facts are that we defer to custom and tradition. Our whole civilization is based upon man-made opinions. We have never thought for ourselves in religion, consequently we do not know how to think accurately and consecutively upon any proposition. We have not been trained to draw conclusions each for himself from a universal pivotal Truth, and consequently we are not competent to pass judgment upon any statements so predicated. (Essential Charles Fillmore, p.44)
I noticed, however, that all the teachers and writers talked a great deal about the omnipresent, omniscient God, who is Spirit and accessible to everyone. I said to myself, in this babel I will go to headquarters. If I am Spirit and this God they talk so much about is Spirit, we can somehow communicate, or the whole thing is a fraud. (Essential Charles Fillmore, p.36)
Practical Christianity is not a theory having origin in the human mind; nor is it a revelation to humanity from some prophet whose word alone must be taken as unquestioned authority. It is in this respect totally different from the other religious systems of the world, because it does not in any respect rest its authority upon revelation. It has no dogmas nor creeds, nor are its students expected to believe anything which they cannot logically demonstrate to be true. (Essential Charles Fillmore, p.42)
"Man is the power of God in action. The power to control his thinking is the highest gift given to man. There is a universal, creative force that urges man forward to the recognition of the creative power of individual thought." - Charles Fillmore
